Position Overview: The Director of Sales and Distribution Partnerships will drive measurable revenue growth by expanding R.H. Boyd's market presence, increasing sales volume, and establishing strategic distribution partnerships. Success will be reflected in the Candidate's ability to increase product reach, build high-performing sales teams, and secure profitable partnerships that align with the company's long-term goals. This position will directly contribute to growing our customer base, optimizing our distribution networks, and exceeding sales targets through diversified streams of income and increasing our core business revenue. Travel will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies that result in sustained sales growth, ensuring year-over-year revenue increases through effective sales leadership and market expansion efforts.
  • Expanded Market Reach: Secure new distribution partnerships and optimize existing ones, expanding R.H. Boyd’s presence across retail, online, and third-party platforms to reach a significant increase in product accessibility and market share.
  • Profitable Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain high-value partnerships with distributors and retailers, consistently negotiating terms that drive profitability and enhance the company’s competitive advantage.
  • High-Performance Sales Team: Lead, mentor, and develop a results-oriented sales team that consistently meets or exceeds performance goals, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
  • Data-Driven Reporting and Decision Making: Leverage market insights, performance metrics, and internal and external data analytics to refine sales strategies, improve distribution efficiency, and ensure that all efforts directly contribute to profitability.
  • New Market Entry: Lead successful market entry strategies into new geographic regions or untapped sectors, resulting in the establishment of new revenue streams and distribution networks.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead sales teams that consistently surpass revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Proven experience in securing and optimizing distribution partnerships that significantly enhance product reach and profitability.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a focus on results, team performance, and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to think strategically, execute initiatives, and drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Expertise in analyzing sales data to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and accountability.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software, enterprise resource management software, distribution platforms (such as Amazon), and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • At least 5 years in sales with management experience, preferably in a related industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field of study.
  • Must be able to travel as needed to represent the company at trade shows, client meetings, training, corporate events, etc.
