Lessons for May 22 & 29, 2022

Join us as Dr. LaDonna Boyd presents the May 22 & 29, 2022 Curriculum Lessons. The lessons come from the Master Teacher book and the scripture passage is Galatians 5. 

In the Lesson for May 22, Paul provides a valuable admonishment to the Galatian churches to not become entangled by being justified through the Law. He declares that such actions are a yoke of bondage. He makes clear that attempting to obtain righteousness on those terms is futile for no one can keep the standards of the Law. 

In the lesson for May 29, Paul speaks about walking in the Spirit. One cannot simply come to church on Sundays and expect to overcome the natural desires offered by the world. The fleshly nature continues with a person 24 hours a day  and 7 days of the week. If one receives the work of God’s indwelling spirit, a new life in Christ and connection to the Spirit will be available.
