In today’s lesson, Jesus is returning to Capernaum as it became His headquar­ters for Galilee. Apart from revealing His messiahship, Jesus’ pri­mary objective was to unveil His mission to address the needs of the underprivileged and the overlooked. As it was then, His mission statement to the people of Capernaum, is the universal standard for ministry today.
