Lessons for January 2025

The four January lessons are collectively titled “Our God Reigns,” drawn from the book of Psalms. The message emphasizes God's sovereign power, justice for the oppressed, enduring faithfulness, and boundless mercy and compassion toward His creation, calling believers to worship and trust in His eternal greatness.

Lesson 1: “In Times of Trouble.” God is a defender of the oppressed, hears the cries of the afflicted, and assures justice for the vulnerable. Lesson 2: “The LORD Is Robed in Majesty.” The LORD’s eternal majesty and sovereignty establish His unshakable reign over creation and triumph over chaos. Lesson 3: “Don’t Forget!” Remember and praise the LORD for His abundant mercy, forgiveness, and steadfast love, which renew and sustain us. Lesson 4: “Doesn’t Anything Last Anymore?” God's kingdom and love are everlasting, and His faithfulness to all creation calls for continuous worship and trust.
