Lessons for June 2025

The June lessons are collectively titled, “The Genesis of Altars and Sacrifices,” and the five lessons are drawn from the book Genesis. God demonstrates His justice, mercy, covenant faithfulness, and provision, guiding and blessing those who trust and obey Him, even amidst human failure and testing.

Lesson 1: “Gift–Giving that Matters.” God values offerings given with a sincere heart over mere ritual, and warns against sin’s desire to control us.

Lesson 2: “The Rainbow Promise.” God establishes a covenant with humanity and creation, symbolized by the rainbow, promising never to destroy the earth by water again.

Lesson 3: “Ultimate Allegiance.” Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice Isaac shows complete trust and obedience to God, who provides in time of need.

Lesson 4: “Digging Your Own Well.” God’s presence and blessing empower us to persist and flourish even amid conflict and opposition.

Lesson 5: “Jacob Marks God’s Faithfulness.” God assures Jacob of His continual presence and promise, leading Jacob to commit his life in worship and trust.
