The February lessons are collectively titled “The Church and its teachings”. The four lessons are drawn from the books of Mark, Ephesians, Matthew, Corinthians, Exodus, Romans, Revelation, and Acts. Together, these passages teach that God is actively at work growing His kingdom, uniting His people, and empowering them for faithful living and witness. They emphasize spiritual maturity, obedience, worship, generosity, and reliance on the Holy Spirit as believers participate in God’s mission with unity and purpose.
Lesson 5: “Working Together Makes Us Better.” As Christ nurtures His church, believers are called into unity and equipped for service so that the body may mature in faith, truth, and love. God desires His people to grow together, strengthened by shared belief, spiritual gifts, and a common calling.
Lesson 6: “Outer Expressions of Inner Truths.” Jesus’ baptism reveals His obedience to God’s will and affirms His identity and mission. Through baptism and the Lord’s Supper, believers remember Christ’s sacrifice and publicly commit themselves to a life of discipleship. God calls His people to be shaped by these sacred practices and sent into the world to make disciples, living out their faith with reverence, obedience, and love.
Lesson 7: “Rhythms of Rest and Work.” God establishes rhythms of rest and worship that remind His people of His authority and care. Honoring revered time reflects trust in God and respect for His design.
Lesson 8: “Values, Money, and Experiences.” God supplies strength and resources so His people can serve generously and sacrificially. As followers of Christ respond to God’s grace, they are called to give freely, trust God’s provision, and participate joyfully in God’s mission to the world.
